From conceptualisation to realisation, we craft cutting-edge products tailored for aviation excellence and enhanced with aesthetic, elegant designs. Our product development is headed by an interdisciplinary team that conducts market and technological research, concept development, 3D modelling and simulation, prototyping, bills of material, first article inspection, verification and declaration, and product packaging and production drawing development.
The Repair and Alteration (R&A) department manages and supervises the testing of all J&C Aero’s produced and repaired components, ensuring our designs meet the highest standards. The scope of our in-house capabilities covers vertical and horizontal flammability, cycle, strength, durability, safety and dynamic compression, and static and other tests that are conducted in accordance with EASA and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
One of our R&D team’s products – the innovative Jump Seat Duo, a unique fusion tailored for both the aircraft crew and passengers with reduced mobility – was a runner-up in its category for the Crystal Cabin Awards 2023. The convertible lightweight crew seat can be easily transformed into a wheelchair within a few seconds and with no need for support from ground handling or maintenance staff.
